Today, Jolicloud went from a private alpha to a pre-beta public and over the past few days, they scrapped their long standing "invitation" system and posted an open invite code allowing any one still waiting for the invite to join the party. I finally registered. They've introduced a pre-beta and also a Jolicloud Express to run it within Windows.

Its said to be one of the best netbook distros of the year. Now every one can download it from their site - no invitation needed!

Installed it this morning. Runs GREAT on the DELL Mini 10. Didn't even have to mess around with the GMA500 drivers. Everything worked out-of-the-box. Very nice, will be using this from now on instead of Karmic.

How is it the best distro of the year if it hasn't been released yet?

Yes ( dual-boot ).
That why, it seen you was on windows and the website script assumed you would want the EXE. If you was on linux it prob would be the ISO.

-- nvm --

Just make the ISO image offer a little bit brighter and you'll be on the right track :)
