well, I was minding my own business updating to 9.10 and with an hour to go all of a sudden, it disappeared, no crash, no bad things happened just gone. the only indication I have is the power manager icon appeared in the top corner. this is my desktop computer so there is no reason to use the power manager and have never seen it before now. if I hover over the little plug it says "unable to get data...". I was sitting here when it happened and didn't notice any power glitches or anything.
what do I do now? it's running fine but the update manager won't restart, my fear is that if I reboot it will crash really bad.
