64bit ubuntu 9.10 upgrade. Now flash control widgets do not respond, start/stop, full screen etc...
Plays video, but no controls.
Was using 64 bit flash alpha for 9.4 and was working ok other than stopped functioning after prolonged use, probably memory management problem.
Uninstalled apt package and installed adobe plugin and now it works. thanks for help.:p

hmmm.... sounds like some process is messing with it, which I think would show up with others. Or, possibly you have a corrupt profile. -- Try going down the route of a corrupt profile in FFox
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1193567 Is the place to head, they'll know more about the intracicies of FFox, as well.
