ATI and Ubuntu 9.10

Hello forum!!
I was wondering if anybody has installed correctly the XFX ATI HD 4650 on Ubuntu 9.10?? If yes, please advice. I have installed it but the drivers dont seem to work properly. What should I do to get them to work. I have installed the newest catalyst 9.11 for ATI.
