Can't. When you log on with window #2, window #1 will log itself out.

that was helpful...
Well there should be a way, problem is that multi-boxing like that requires a third party program to interact with the windows unless you get really down and dirty with the needed parts in the kernel etc and third party software like that goes against the license agreement since that is more or less the same way that bots work and you might risk a bann.
Easiest way really to multi-box is to do it "right"
buy 4 really low end computers, as cheap as you can while still meeting the WoW req. (no screens)
buy/get and old screen
a screen, mouse and keyboard switcher, pref one that can handle 1 Input USB and digitally select 1-5 outputs (this is probably the hardest one to find but I've seen them, there are alternatives to this of course or you could build one yourself ;))
that should do it, one main screen, one secondary screen for the 4 extra accounts and one keyboard and mouse to rule them all ;P
this setup is best for grinding / questing, if you are going for PvP you might want more keyboards and really learn to use them all.
there is some cost to it ofc but not that much since the 4 extra computers doesn't really need to be that good and WoW now runs on fairly old hardware.
Did a fast check on cost, I would say about $1000 US for everything, maybe even less if you find stuff the companies want to get rid of because it's so old :P

in theory VMs could work but the amount of hardware to run 4-5 VMs playing WoW if you even get it started due to the limited 3D support, question is if it's even playable

First off Multiboxing is not against TOS. I checked. Second there is tones of windows and a few mac programs that can multibox with out getting extra hardware. is there any way i can run the mac one?
Note: its a dmg file

No you can't run mac software on linux.
There may be tons of programs out there, but they're all against the TOS.
Any software which removes or automates the process that normally requires user interaction is forbidden.
Even if you find one that will work on Linux you're likely to get banned from WoW.
If you really want to dual box you should learn to react quickly and either use alt-tab or virtual desktops.

No Multi-boxing isn't but third-party software interacting with WoW is actually, that's why a software solution most likely would be, as for multi-boxing software if you got them already and wanna risk it why not try running the windows one via WINE since WoW runs in WINE :)

Third party softwares were not against TOS when i was multiboxing a few years ago : it does not automate moves or actions , one key = one move , for several characters but it's not like bots because you are always behind your keyboard and screen.
I hope it's still the case , i'd like to get back to it (4 accounts) because i love the difficulty of it (manage aggro , life , timings etc...).
Still no solution on linux ? (i was multiboxing on windows but i'm on ubuntu for a year now and don't really want to get back to the dark side just for that).
My setup was :
-2 wow folders , one with a pretty nice graphical setup for the main character , the other for the 3 alt accounts with a minimal setup.
-One PC , but 2 screens : the main one with the main character in full screen , the other with the 3 accounts in window mode side by side.
The system configuration was not so high end when it was wow vanilla , but now with the 2 extensions (especially the last one : WOTLK) i'll have to upgrade it :(
