I'm trying to run this program:

http://www.max.twobrotherssoftware.com/page0004.html

I extract the files, I cd to the directory where they are extracted, and when I type try to run the program, it says command not found, even though the command is right there when I type dir

using ./command brings up an error message saying it's missing a library, the command I found here to install the library doesn't work

http://www.digitalsanctum.com/2007/01/28/libstdc-libc62-2so3-on-ubuntu/

I'm guessing the library in that command is old and hasn't been referencing to the updated package, anyone know what command I should be using to install the library on that website?

you can download and install the package yourself

http://packages.debian.org/etch/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2
