removing empathy, evolution

hi

just playing around in karmic,
(why) is it not possible to remove the empathy and evolution packages??
i dont use either and find their existance on my 4gb persistent liveUsb rather wastfull.

I just removed evolution:


sudo apt-get remove evolution

i was just confused by looking at the new software-center
it only had an upgrade option...

never mind...

I'm not a fan of Empathy or Evolution either. Not being very clued up on the command line I just used Synaptic and selected both for removal :grin:
