Update manager being a pain

First post, so be nice :p

Basically at uni I had to manully set up a vpn and connect to the internet through that, which was fine.

However, it seems to have configured my update manager to only update from the uni ip address and the uni ip won't allow me to update from there.

So, i'm home now and I have no idea how to change where it downloads from, i've tried most things and I can't find it on the internet anywhere, help would be appreciated :)

PLease help. I like to think it's a simple problem. When I do apt get in the teminal it says it's trying to connect to my University internet, not my own!
