Error on start-up

Hi, I've installed KDE on Ubuntu 9.10. At first all went just fine, but now, after the loading screen (that one that says "Kubuntu"), I got an error:


Ubuntu is running in low graphic mode

(EE) Failed to load module "type1" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "freetype" (module does not exist, 0)

I don't know what to do next. I've tried some of the solutions available (reconfigure X server settings, load generic X server settings, etc), but nothing worked.

I've "solved" the problem by switching from KDM to GDM, if anyone is interested. There's still some issues (I can't turn-off the PC from the desktop, I got to close the session and then turn-off, really annoying), but nothing serious.
