I was looking at the ipodlinux wiki and apparently ipods can play ogg files.
I was considering doing this for my ipod mini and I just wondered if anybody else has done it and what they thought of the end result.

I have not done it, but it can be reversed if you have a windows pc. You just download the ipod software and it will install the regular ipod os back onto it. I would say "Go for it!".

I got iPodLinux on my Nano, but only tried a few mp3's so far. Some bigger or high quality ones wouldn't play nicely.
However just install Linux anyway...it's pretty cool playing doom on your iPod ;) Also seeing what the devs are doing it's going to be really interesting(usb host support for example).

I'll definately give this I try, although I can't imagine Doom would be any good on my ipod mini's screen.
Is there anything that Doom hasn't been ported to?
