Ace Aspire One D250 Wifi button not working

Good Morning,

My acer aspire one D250 has the Wifi button (on the low right end) not working. Wifi functionality is working fine, I'd just like to be able to disable it from the button.

any help?

With my acer it looks like the button isn't working because the wireless bars do not change until you actually try to use the computer to access.

I have noticed the same thing with my Acer Aspire One from the moment I installed linux. It hasn't bothered me too much since at least it's stuck "on". ;) I eagerly await an explanation.:popcorn:
