When do the repositories get updated?

Sketchup used to work under WINE until recently. The WINE website shows an updated version as being available. I prefer to update from the repositories.

The app you are asking about Sketchup is it a Ubuntu app or a windows app? If it is a windows app you will have to look elsewhere for an update. I could not find it in my repositories and I have 111 enabled.

Did you mean a wine update?

I am often a bit frustrated at how long it seems to take to get new versions (of anything in particular, not wine) in the repos.
The short answer is, the update or new version only gets into Ubuntu when the team is convinced it is stable enough. That is good for us, and if you consider how much stuff they have to keep track of, it is understandable that it takes a while.
