Hi,
Sorry if this question has been answered already - I've looked but not found it.
I've just downloaded Ubuntu 9.10 (my first time with any linux OS). When I try to install, or run the demo version, I'm asked to login. I have not been asked to provide a user name or password, and everything I've tried (user/ubuntu/root/demo/test... etc) has failed to get me in.
It is getting pretty frustrating. I've tried re-burning the disk - same result. I've also tried downloading again, but still no luck.
Is this a secret for true linux users, or am I just being dumb?
Any help appreciated, thanks.
