SO i guess there is no more XMMS :( my favorite mp3 player, it was stable fast easy to use and low resources, can any one recommend on that is similar ?

Audacious is a fork of bmp which is a fork of xmms. It looks just like xmms. Is that what your looking for?

Hi jleaman,

xmms still has a home on Slackware 13.0, one of the few distros to still package this great player...
