hi guys! I installed The sims on my eee pc 900 with wine and everything worked like it should :p but when I opened auto play and clicked on the play button it asked if i like to run the game in 800X600 or 1024x768, so i clicked on 800x600 and then nothing happened! the same for 1024x764.

I tryed to go to wineprograms and found the same option there (800x600 & 1024x768 ) same reaction.
Maybe I need to find the sims.exe in the folder c:\program\maxis\thesims. But where can i find this folder?

Im a little bit new on ubuntu;)

I think it should be under the sub menu "Wine" in the main applications menu. There should be an option "Browse C: Drive". Navigate to program files and then your desired directory.

Hope I helped.

I just checked WineHQ and it is mentioned there that wine hasn't got The Sims 2 x running yet. Take a look here
