Help changing theme colors?

Hi, i have gnome themed out red and black and i have problems seeing boundaries of things because my windows are basically black (one shade lighter than zero) and all the dividers and edges for buttons and stuff are black. heres a screenshot of what im talking about...

i just wanna make the dividers/separators, and the scrollbars white or grey or red so that i can see them. any help with that? itll be greatly appreciated...thx!

Could you explain how you fixed this problem? Just in case others have the same problem, they might decide to actually do research before posting a duplicate question, hence cluttering the forum. Use the forum to fix your problems, but also to help others fix theirs.
