Hi,

I was installing 9.10 side by side by my win XP that when it went it Configuting Apt or something that says the installer is about to finish that it stuck at 80% there. So I tried CTRL+ALT+F2 and type ps ax but could not find http process to kill, since after some search I found that it might be problem ubuntu installer not being able to connect to internet since I have to put an specific DNS address into each connection that wants to connect to internet.

So I could restart via that command-prompt page (I donno if its Shell or Bash) with command sudo shutdown now -rq (I found that by instinct! how brilliant it was written that I could find my way by typing similar keywords) and after restart, windows xp when to scan my drive and I'm back at windows with 10GiB of my HDD disappeared.

So my questions are:

1- how to pass that page.
2- how to get back my HDD that installer took and partitioned but I can't access it. Should I somehow delete them or installer is able to install Linux there? What should I do for that matter?

Thanks guys.:D
