I installed Kubuntu onto my Ubuntu installation (Wubi) using a SUDO code to try it out, but instead while in the dual boot menu, in GRUB i clicked ubuntu and i got slapped with this error message in kernel
07604101 Kernel Panic - not syncing: UFS: Unable to mount root fs on Unk (cut off screen) wn-block (8,2)
Then after that. Nothing. I have to manually shut down the computer and start again. Obviously this time im using Windows XP to post this. If anyone could help me out that would be great. I just dont want to go through the pain of reinstalling then installing the correct Nivida driver again because of a titchy little screen.
The main problem for assistance is that im a complete newb when it comes to tech. Anything risky and im bound to blow something up. Anyone help me please? :(
