i made the fatal mistake of leaving my laptop to download the 1hr plus upgrade, then got distracted for about a day :oops: and now when i boot up i can select 9.04 2.6.28-16 i then get the ubuntu loading screen.
but it comes up with:-
/tmp:waiting for (null)
swap:waiting for uuid=20edc7d9-2a89-4d5d-bc68-849f19d4ffcb
press esc to enter recovery shell
and it just sits there.......
i suspect the laptop went into sleep mode half way thru or something similar...
any recommendations greatly appreciated!!
