I wonder if they taste like lobsters. After all, they are crustaceans

somehow this thing makes me hide behind the sofa.

It is possible that it will taste like lobster but I bet it will not as they arent that related really.

when i read iso pod i was thinking of a cd emulation kind of thing, where you store ur isos on it, using its screen you set what iso you want it to use, then plug it in a usb port and the pc reconises it as a (bootable) usb cd drive

Gives me goosebumps. I have a phobia against large insects, I guess this hits the spot.

I saw a video of them eating a dead fish ^^

Has anyone ever noticed that what we imagine aliens to be are actually very similar to deep sea creatures? See for yourself

I found a cool fact about the last one with the funny tooth thing sticking out:

http://listverse.com/2007/12/05/top-15-unusual-deep-sea-creatures/

Female blackdragons are about two feet (61 cm) long and have fanglike teeth and a long chin whisker. The males are small, about three inches (8 cm) in length, and brownish in color. They have no teeth, no chin barbel and no stomach. Unable to eat, the male lives only long enough to mate.

Look under logs and rocks to find miniature versions of these guys.

those things eat the flesh of the dead on the sea floor. Dead sailors, fisherman, whales and fish, octopus, and computers with failed operating systems.

I never knew they had shirts for those... yes, they are very pretty.

Well it seems you can get some alive (or are those dead and some guy thought it would be clever putting an empty doritos packet there?)

I guess us Linuxers and giant isopods have something in common- we both depend on people throwing their windows pc into deepest, darkest pockets of the sea...

do you think if you get one of those on your face, you have an alien bursting out of your chest a few days later?

I found a cool fact about the last one with the funny tooth thing sticking out:

The picture on the left top is an anglerfish with the male attached on the female. The male is "fused" with the female and acts as an "organ" of her.

Does it work with Linux?
Do I have to load the 1.1 firmware so I can load my songs with Amarok?
How about ssh?

not sure about amarok, but Music On Crustacean (MOC) will work. you should be able to get ssh working using fissh.

you might want to check out the sea food linux forums, they would probably be more knowledgable.
