Hi,

Need help with getting higher screen resolutions. Currently limited to 800x600. Tried modifying/creating Xorg.cnfg but ended up not starting. Reloaded Ubuntu to get going again. Complete newby in Ubuntu!!

Have looked at the Hardware Driver button found under System/Administration?

Yes, no propriety drivers in use on this sytem

When i try to install driver from second link i get reply that a later version is already installed.
