Dear all,
I am somewhat a loss here:
ever since the update of grub2 was delivered every update/install via apt/synaptic quits with an error. In particular, this prevents an update of package package
linux-image-2.6.31-15-generic 2.6.31-15.50.
To my mind these issues have been recognized in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/472298
and
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/480727
However, I'd be very happy to hear if someone had found some kind of workaround to fix these issues.
