I have seen a lot of talk and questions about the radeon x1600 card.It seems that some people get it to work for some applications but I can't find an answer that helps me.
My card is not recognized at all.
All I need for it to do is run my s-video output to my tv.
Catalyst says I need to install the drivers for my card.I got the .run file from ati but when i enter sudo then drag the file into the terminal it tries to open with OpenOffice.
When my computer boots my second monitor(tv) is working.As soon as Ubuntu boots it stops.
