KPackgekit Update Notifications + Suspend

All,

Has anyone else encountered an issue where KPakageKit update notifications cease to work after putting the computer into suspend?

From a fresh boot I will get the update notification in KDE, but not if I come out of suspend.

Is this a known issue? Or is there something I need to do?

You could try the new Kubuntu Notification Helper (http://jontheechidna.wordpress.com/2009/11/05/kubuntu-notification-helper), which seems to be replacing update-notifier-kde in Kubuntu installations as soon as it's mature enough. Nope, spoke too soon - Sadly the new notifier crashes a lot for me :(

Oh well, I'll just do manual update checks for now.
