I have Windows 7 and I installed Ubuntu as an application in Windows 7. When I rebooted of course I was presented with the dual boot option. I decided that I wanted to install a full install of Ubuntu on a separate partition on my hard drive, so I deleted the Ubuntu directory folder from my Windows 7 GUI. Now when I reboot, the Ubuntu is still showing in the boot screen and I want to get that removed before I do any further installation. I have been through the bcdedit in the command prompt, but the only thing that ever comes back is:
C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit /delete ba50fdc0-df08-11de-8f8a-f2e85f9e3e44 /f
The specified entry identifier is not valid.
The parameter is incorrect.
But when I do run just the bcdedit at the C: prompt, it does show the Ubuntu as seen here:
C:\Windows\system32>bcdedit

If someone could just tell me how to have that removed please, I would greatly appreciate the help.
