View Full Version : [ubuntu] Wubi 9.10 problem with keyboard

In the past have installed 9.04, no problem, xp sp3, via wubi. Just tried on a new computer, again xp sp3, no choice as Wubi is now 9.10 by default. Installs OK, but when reboot, choice between xp & ubuntu, the install does not recognize my keyboard (usb) so I cannot select ubuntu.

I am using same keyboard for 9.04, which recognizes usb keyboard and allows choice. I do not have, nor do I want to get a ps2 keyboard. I have installed, removed, and re-installed 9.10 3 x's now, all the same.

If 9.10 is not going to work in Wubi, after removing it, still the boot process is left asking to select between xp & ubuntu. Since my keyboard is not recognized (or does not work) I have to wait an additional 27 seconds to be allowed to go ahead on into xp. How do I get this wubi/ubuntu loader(?) if that is what it is, off my computer. Thanks for anticipated help in this matter
