Default text - Plugin for gEdit

Hi. is there any plugin for gedit to set a default text, which should appear in every new file i open?

i'm tired of typing or pasting the same data (name, date, email) every time i open a new file (it doesn't matter if it's HTML, PHP, C++ or just plain text).:D

I'd check the 'snippets' and 'Insert Date and Time' plugins.
