I just began running FOLDING@Home, and I have no basis for performance comparison. I'm currently getting an estimated 1548 Points per day and I would like to know if anyone has managed to come up with any tweaks to squeeze out more, or if 1500+ is decent to begin with.

My machine is a Core 2 Duo, E6550 running at 2.38 Ghz under full load, though it does throttle back to 6 multipliers if not under load to give me ~2 Ghz.

I have 4 GB of DDR2 800 memory, and I'm using Ubuntu 9.10, 64 Bit.

Any thoughts?
