I think this Cruncpad was a cool idea, and I'm sad to see it die.:-({|=

The crunchpad always looked like such a cool device, I admit I didn't quite understand the reason for going ATOM rather than ARM for the use cases it is designed for (I am guessing we can blame flash here for not yet supporting ARM). Regardless I am sad to see it go, I would love to see a similar project start up in the open to create a truly fine device.

Seems like Arm would have been a better choice, but Intel offered the Atom dirt cheap.

The whole story Sounds a lot like what Jack Tramiel experienced with Texas Instruments in the 70's.
