Is it possible to download updates to Linux for someone who does not have working internet so they can update via a CD?
Can't get the modem working yet in Linux so there is no internet. However the internet works fine in Windows. Could I possibly download the updates in windows, burn them to CD or put on a flash to get Linux up to date.
If so, where would those files be stored to the update manager checks for them when updating? Would it be /var/cache/apt/archives directory?
Thanks
