so recently archos announced the release of the SDE firmware...

im trying to generate discussion so that people start to work on an ubuntu firmware for the archos 5. i would love to help in any way i just dont know how to develop

is it possible to potentially run ubuntu mobile on my archos? so far no one has really looked into it or so it seems.

These people might be able to help you get another Linux on your Archos. If you ask for Ubuntu you may get told to start trying to port it and they will try to help.
