I have this computer and it has ubuntu. I don't know anything about it. I want to install windows xp over ubuntu, I have a disk, but I can't get it to run, how do I get it to install? Please help?

windows is have uniqe boot..

you must install windows firs before install ubuntu..

if you install ubuntu first..your hardisk cant booting your OS becouse of window..:popcorn:

This isn't really a windows support forum.

Anyway, you will need to go into your computers BIOS and make sure that CD booting is enabled. Also, make sure that CD is before the hard drive in the boot order (not all BIOSes have this, so if you cant find that option its probably not there)

BIOS is he 1st software that the computer runs during starting (BIOS = basic input output system)

You normally get into the BIOS by hitting Del or F2 after powering up the computer. Straight after, if you get as far as GRUB you have gone too far.
