:popcorn:---lol popcorn is the perfect stress food---ok I don't speak computer----I don't know DOS----and I really did flunk the binary chapter in math-----All I want to do is rid my computer and my life of anything windows

I need instructions in plain english------

My life at this point will be complete if I can have ubuntu as my sole OS

Oh and I have the annoying ability to EMP computers and other electronics--sorry

I think that you can just repartition you hard drive so that you only have the ubunut partition and the swap partition (and any other linux related partitions) and remove the windows partition. I have never actually done this though, so you I can't give you very detailed instructions, and you will most likely want to back everything up in case something goes wrong.

Can't give you instructions on windows removal until we know something about your existing setup.

SO, how do you have Windows and Ubuntu installed now? Is Ubuntu installed on its own set of partitions? OR is it installed inside MS Windows?

The removal instructions are very different -- depending on how they are installed.
