legacy/memorial mega-thread for Ubuntu forum members, erstwhile and present:

Could be currently active/or inactive regular members or staff, that you feel should be remembered or noted.

I'll start with:

bodhi.zazen (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=89054) - is always fair and diplomatic in terms of moderation/administration, has helped out the Ubuntu beginners immensely and founded Zenix (a Buddhist version of Ubuntu). Thank you for your contributions.

RIP to all those who have come before, and mala to all those who follow hereafter.

Would this be like the Ubuntu Hall of Fame (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1289699)

Would this be like the Ubuntu Hall of Fame (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1289699)Not necessarily Hall of fame, but merely past or present users to be noted and remembered not for fame or shame but not necessarily all positive/negative either. It would be nice for people to be able to note perhaps members who contributed in the past that may not be around anymore.

Not sure how to make it different enough to not necessarily be a hall of fame, but it could be ordinary members who don't contribute actively but bring a smile to the day to day posting schema.

Do I really need some kind of explanation for this choice?

LaRoza too, because he/she used to be very helpful especially in the Programming Talk board which is one I frequent. :)

Little Bit (http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?u=877710), whose brief appearance here in the forums, here (http://www.linuxforums.org/articles/non-geeky-girls-love-linux-too-_368.html) in a wonderful article she wrote, and here in our dance studio, was cut short by the H1N1 virus. Get better soon and come back, Amy!
