Me, I am exploring Drupal. But.... there is a learning curve that even it's developers emphasize on their website. Drupal is not really the install and create a website that I believe Joomla is.

I have worked with Joomla a lot and find the backend admin very easy to figure out and use.

The one time I installed Drupal that was not the case.

For getting a web site up and running smoothly, Joomla is the way to go.IMHO

I think that there is no simple answer to this question. You should use the tool that you know.

I am not so experienced in this question, however, I prefer drupal because I know several large websites that run drupal. Ubuntu.com is one of them (yes, try this link (http://www.ubuntu.com/install.php) and you will see it).

On the other side, maybe there are a lot of complex sites running joomla, but I don't have such information.
