For a project at work, I need to be able to mark up and save PDF files. Since I'm a co-op, I'd like to be able to do it without costing the company $250 for an Adobe liscence. Is there an open source alternative? Preferably for (shudder) Windows, but I could run Damn Small Linux in a window if I needed to.

Thanks for the reply. I had considered working in a different format and then exporting to pdf, but Adobe Pro has a great little tool that allows you to make a stamp out of another pdf. This allows us to automate the process of marking up drawings. I could possibly do something similar with a spreadsheet, but I havn't figured out a way to paste a spreadsheet into a picture. I'll keep it in mind though if I can't find a better way. I'd really like to find something as good as (or better than) Adobe though, and save us from having to ever buy/upgrade liscenses.
