I am having a few problems with GRUB2....so trying to eliminate things!!!!
I have 9.10 install split up as follows:
Internal PC SATA HDD:
/dev/sda5 - linx-swap
/dev/sda6 - /boot
External SATA HDD:
/dev/sdb3 - /home
/dev/sdb4 - /
The doco says when doing a grub-install target it to the device where Ubuntu is installed.
In my case I said do it on /dev/sda is this the right place or should I have put it on /dev/sdb or on both /dev/sda & /dev/sdb?????
Help would be appreciated thanks
