Hello!
I built a LTSP server using Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10. Almost all is working very well, the system is incredible.

1) But, when I or any user are working in the Thin Clients, isn't possible to umount USB devices. When they are plugged in the Ubuntu automatically mount the device, an icon appears in the Desktop area. However, the usb key cannot unmounted.

2) Some users need use floppy disks (1.44 MB). All thin clients have the devices working, but also is impossible umount the floppy disks. Sometimes I write a file in the floppy, but indeed the file isn't write in the disk. May be Ubuntu write the informations on the floppy when it is unmounted. I need some help with this!

Thank You!

perhaps you could change the settings so that writes to the floppy aren't cached?
