Hello all of you
I just upgraded from Jaunty to Karmic Coala.
Trouble is that in the process I lost the access to the panel, so depressing 'alt F1' has no effect, when I try to use the mouse, wich works, it still has no effect when I click on 'Programs' or any other panel bars. When I try to shut down, by depressing 'cntrl alt del' I get the messsage that the panel is not responding and it asked me wether I want to go ahead shutting down anyway or not.
I tried typing 'gnome-panel' in a shell and then it tells me that one is allready running.
And the sound went missing, but I fixed that by adjusting the alsamimxer from a shell.
I really love to use ubuntu so I hope someone has a good idea.
