hi there ubuntu users ;),

coukd someone please direct me to a dictionary for ubuntu like babylon
here are some of his features :
1-) translating words with no need of writing them inside the babylon box ,all you have to do is press ctrl+mouse right button
2-) translating web pages
3-) contains a lot of dictionaries :
eng-eng , eng-spa , spa-eng , eng-heb , heb-eng , ara-eng ,eng-ara.

so i guess no one knows :p
it doesn't matter i've googled around , found the wine application and installed babylon
but it doesn't work .
meaning : when i run it and write some word it doesn't do anything.
another problem that it doesn't support languages except english although my 9.04 ubuntu itself support them .

see the image attached .

Hi,

Sorry for missing your original post. I use http://smartlinkcorp.com/translation-software/about.html

It runs in a window under ffox and does shed loads of translations

It's currently running at v3.2.9.

Regards,

Phill.

Download sdict viewer -

http://sdictviewer.sourceforge.net/

And various dictionaries -

http://www.pscience5.net/sdict.htm

I have 12 dictionaries, I don't know where I downloaded them from!

I think it was sdict.com...but it's all Russian now!
