Ok so my parents are off to Mexico for the week and we decided to use an old webcam one of my mom's friends had, so I have none of the original packing and as it is I'm guessing at the model type based on pictures I saw, but that isn't the big issue here.

The webcam works in Cheese, however if I try to use it on aMSN, Skype, or even Camorama it won't work. I've tried using EasyCam2, but the webcam doesn't show up. On Skype it'll just show a picture from the ther person's webcam.

For more background info, I'm running Ubuntu 9.04.
(I'm a new user to Ubuntu so I don't really know how most things work.)
