For all of you in the US, or ex-patriots abroad, or anyone anywhere,...

Enjoy each other and be thankful for what you have today.

Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

...I'm cooking a Turkey brined first, with this recipe:

A ham, a shoulder o venison and the biggest turkey in town...:D
(with one of the biggest crowds in town)
It's gonna be a good old-fashioned thanksgiving- Dad's having a sermon at 12:30 and we'll all eat at one. Mom makes the BEST seafood stuffing- we're all cajuns here. My cousins are here too (straight from Gueydan, Louisiana (pronounced gooey dan) :D

Happy Thanksgiving!

Damnit I envy you all. I'm on a diet, so multivitamin supplements, 500 kcal of strawberry yoghurt, three slices of whole-wheat bread and two apples. And five miles of speedwalking, torture at 90 bpm.

In any case, happy thanksgiving!

And where might you be? It's the day after Thanksgiving here...
Dad preached a good sermon at noon and we and our Cajun relatives gathered round a table filled with Attachments 1-3 and then we ate Attachment 4:lolflag:
(and yeah those are Louisiana satsumas (http://www.satsumafarm.com/) in the bowl, the skin literally falls off whole and the fruit is like a clementine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clementine), (no seeds and very sweet)

And we had a turkey, deer and ham roast- and that's not mentioning the fresh crabs, crawfish and shrimp we had the night before. :D (Last Attachment, and they were still alive when we got them, that's what counts if you want fresh)

We had my wife's uncle's specialty, which is his turkey. He has his own special way of cooking it. He doesn't thaw the turkey out before putting it in the oven, and he leaves the plastic bag of giblets in it. It comes out still kind of pink with the taste of polyvinyl chloride and synthetic resins cooked through it. But it's his special way of cooking turkey.

Yum! :)
