On my old installation, hoping to improve, I installed the new version of Xubuntu 9.10.
Now, after some initial problems solved, I have a last problem: if a user setup a different desktop resolution from the default, the login screen is requested several times before this user can access the system.
How can I fix this?
I read something similar to this problem and solved with the replacement of GDM... right? What do you recommend to install instead of GDM? Or can I select a default resolution that can not be replaced by nobody than "root" and how?
