Hi, I downloaded the latest version of Ubuntu and burned the img to a cd to install it on my netbook.. i was stupid though & realised after "oops, my netbook doesn't have a cd drive!"

so i'm just wondering, how exactly cani go about installing this on my netbook if all I have is an iso file? Also, I mounted the iso to see if there was some sort of way I could just start the installation and have it go through some sort of process without me needing a cd :( but i can't even find any file to even start the installation & the cd doesn't automatically play itself or anything!

I know these are all dumb questions, so I appologise.. and if this is the wrong forum then I appologise again, but since i'm trying to install it, i just assumed it would fit in well in the installation forum lol

you could install this daemon http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/downloads then mount the .iso and use wubi to install.

or you can make a pendrive be the live cd using unetbootin http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ and then install
