Hi,

Since i upgraded to 9.10(64 bit) my PC is not working.
I think the problem is with nvidia 190 drivers, there is no X and i see command line login prompt and it flickers.
i have tried with other drivers and it works with nvidia 96 drivers but i dont see any window outlines, a lot of UI is missing.

I have dell sc440, q6600, 8GB ram with nvidia POINT OF VIEW GeForce 7300GS, 2 velociraptors.

I have this PC for 2 years, it was working perfect until this upgrade.

Is it possible to get help on this? or advice, should i try another linux distribution?

regards,
dado

There's a very long sticky thread about this in this forum. Since you already have the latest drivers, I think you can only wait... I have the same problem too. You could try rebooting and if you're lucky after 2-3 reboots you'll get in. That's what I do everyday.
