i have installed ubuntu 9.10 server i used this tutorial (http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-9.10-karmic-koala-ispconfig-2) for the setup. lastnight i installed ubuntu 9.10 server and everything went well i have the latest upgrades and everything installed.
my problem is today i can not log in through putty. i have rebooted the server and was able to log in through putty but then it kicked me after about 4 min. i tried to log back in but on go i have rebooted the server but still can not log into through putty.
i have the ubuntu and my xp computer on a kvm switch i can switch from xp to the ubuntu and log in and do whatever i need but can not get putty to work..
any ideas what is going on or what i should look at... do i need to reinstall i hope not
