Hi everyone

I want to get this Gigabyte netbook: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Notebo...?ProductID=3198 (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Notebook/Products_Spec.aspx?ProductID=3198)

Specs:
GIGABYTE Q1088 Slim Netbook
Intel® Atom™ N270 Processor 1.6GHz
Intel GMA 950 Graphics
1GB DDR2 800 (2GB Max, one slot)
160GB SATA 5400RPM
WiFi 802.11b/g LAN (think it's Atheros)
10.1" Wide Screen 1024x600 LED Backlit
LAN
Media Card Reader
3x USB 2.0

Do you think I will be able to get Ubuntu or Kubuntu Netbook versions running on this with everything working? I've never ever used Linux and would like to have a Ubuntu or Kubuntu netbook (anything but Windows!)

Thank you

Well booted off the CD.
No wireless networking.
Shutdown and went back to XP.
I just don't know why Linux can't get that right.
Sad times.
