Running Ubuntu 9.04 on an old Dell. 1800GHz CPU, 256MB RAM. All goes great THEN I upgrade to 9.10. Problems so far.
Doesn't always boot, I have to select boot options from the boot menu.
Goes into standby, sometimes unexpectedly, and won't wake up.
Best screen resolution available is 800x600.
Just done a clean install from the 'alternate' disk to see the same problems.
Any constructive ideas?
