i am working in a hospital which has around 20 computers which are behind a proxy (Kerio personal firewall) When i tried to update a freshly installed karmic koala through update manager it failed then tried using apt again failed but i can browse the net and download the packages manually
This is also the case with another jaunty which was working properly recently and updating regularly.
the errors are same Failed to fetch http://archive.ubuntu.com/##### Unauthorized 407
