Wiimote / Wii Remote in Karmic Koala - Ubuntu 9.10 ?

Hi,

does someone know if this howto works with Ubuntu 9.10 or was someone able to get the wiimote working as a mouse alternative (with infrared and bluetooth support) in karmic koala - ubuntu 9.10.

I need only someone, who was able to get it working properly in karmic koala.

I've tried it, the buttons are working but not the mouse pointer via infrared. It works perfectly under ubuntu 9.04.

Does someone have a new guide for karmic maybe ?

I followed that guide to the letter, and everything worked just dandy fine... First I tried a wireless sensor bar I bought, but it didn't work, so I used 2 candles :P... and now I have a functioning mouse! Wiimotes rock!

thank you very much :) I'll try it again later.

Tip from me: I've bought first a sensor bar as well - if you have one simple standlight for the table - use this one with a NORMAL light bulb. Works perfectly an better than a sensor bar or candles :)
